The United Nations is an international organization composed of 192 nations. Concieved after World War II on, October 24, 1945, the United Nations replaced the League of Nations as a world committee. Acting as an international body the UN is a forum open to all nations to diplomatically resolve issues. Model United Nations at Flanagan is a prestigious club comprised of the most devoted and passionate students at FHS with a interest in world affairs. Model UN acts as a complete representation of the real United Nations in which global matters are discussed and resolved through proper procedures and diplomatic sense. We compete against a multitude of other Florida High School's at yearly competitions. If you would like to come to a meeting we meet every Friday after school in room 167, Mr. Siflinger's room.
